Alicia McCabe brings a diverse range of operations experience to her role as director of Strayer@Work’s fellowship program, New Vision Fellows. Alicia joined Strayer University in 2009 as a campus director in training. She gained a wealth of management expertise, rotating through several operations roles -student support representative, admissions officer, business office manager, and admissions manager-at three different Strayer University campuses (Savannah, Rockville, and Washington, DC).
After the program, Alicia joined the University’s newly formed student financial services team as a program manager for Strayer’s state grants program, and took on greater levels of responsibility after being named associate director, and eventually, director of student finance operations for the Georgia and Alabama region. Alicia managed three teams that supported the region.
As director of New Vision Fellows, Alicia is responsible for bringing in new talent to Strayer@Work, exposing new team members to meaningful projects throughout the company, and building their skills through training and mentoring. Alicia earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell’s Industrial and Labor Relations School.
