With 15 years in corporate education, Lorraine Haney has extensive experience designing and developing innovative learning solutions that drive individual performance and organizational improvement. In her role at Strayer@Work, Lorraine partners with clients to develop engaging, performance-based solutions that utilize the best of online, mobile and instructor-led strategies.
During her time at American Family Insurance and Strayer University, Lorraine led the development of curricula for onboarding, career transitions, talent management and leadership development. In addition, Lorraine developed operations curricula for training on systems, process, sales, customer service, compliance and continuous improvement. Her experience with both operations training and career development informs her curriculum design, allowing her to develop learning experiences that balance individual needs with business imperatives.
Lorraine earned her PhD in sociology from Duke University, focusing on the role of learning and work during mid-life. She continued her research during a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and continues to conduct primary and secondary research for education consulting groups. She earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Florida State University.
